BMW 328i Mods
I just purchased a 2011 328i and I am trying to see if there are any mods available for this car yet or any recommended things to upgrade. Any advice would be great!

i own an '07.
I ditched the run-flats as soon as I needed new tires, 2 years ago. You will save money and reduce the weight of your car by 20-30 lbs, depending on what you replace it with. I added a KN drop in filter. Not sure about any horsepower gain but the car definitely is more responsive. From reading this website, I'm seriously considering Active Autowerke software, thinking it will be the most cost effective performance mod. After that, maybe d-force ltw5 rims to save more weight. enjoy your new car! |

...I would add that the active autowerke software may not be a good idea for you because of warranty issues...sorry about that... mine's out of warranty now.

Congrats on the car. These mods pretty much go well with any E9x: -Blacklines -Tint all around -M3 lip spoiler -Drop -Upgraded wheels -Angel eyes -Rear wheel spacers I have done tint and M3 spoiler on my car, it has improved the looks. I already have angel eyes and upgraded wheels. Not planning on a drop anytime soon.

BMS PowerBox comes to mind. You will gain 10-15hp and you can uninstall it before a dealer visit.
At least a K&N filter would be beneficial. If you have the money, you can upgrade your intake to a BMW Performance Intake (the euro version is better) and the BMW Performance Exhaust. Soild mods with no warranty concerns. |

Contact JBSpeed here. $160 shipped to U.S. (not sure about Germany) ... good stuff. Painted, with 3M adhesive ready to go.

ditch the runflats, swap the wheels, get some tint, and a front lip and painted reflectors is a must! Upgrade the Angels if you can. Performance wise, just go with the BMW Performance Exhaust. It really does sound sweet.
