Seat belt nanny warning

Is there any way, any way, to disable the damn thing? My black lab rides with me in the 328 and old MINI. Dealers will not do it. Sure, I can plug belt in loosely, use a fake buckle to plug in. I'd just like to turn it off somehow.
Anybody?
