Triggered engine service light
hey guys, i recently did a charcoal delete plus a k&n filter on my 328i, ran fine for 3 days, then i decided to open it back up clean it out make sure there wasn't and excess of oil, did that put it back together started the car realized the maf senor wasn't plugged in so i turned the car off immiedatly and plugged it back in but it still if giving me the engine service check light. Does computer just need to be reset im confused why its still giving me the check light car runs and idles fine.

Yes, it tripped the code b/c it wasn't plugged in, now the computer wants to be reset. Just find someone with an OBDII reader, they are pretty common now. Or go to any auto parts store. They will read it for free, although some of them have policies not to reset the code, only read them.
