Oil/fluid in front wheelwell
I noticed oil socked in the 2 front wheelwells and dripping to the floor behind the front tires more so on the driver side in my drive way today.
Its reddish in colour. Anyone has noticed this before and knows where it's coming from? Thanks. |

Red color usually denotes transmission fluid...

Might there be a transmission fluid cooler loop or something? A bad hose/pipe would leak fluid. Brake and power steering fluid should be clear...antifreeze is green...so definitely worth having checked out.

+1, tranny fluid on our cars looks like engine oil. It is most likely power steering fluid leaking. The most common spot for our cars to leak transmission oil is from the mechatronics sleeve, which is right above the transmission oil pan. |
