PepBoys and Service light?

Can Pepboys check what the service is needed when the service light comes up? I see the symbol of oil afterwards...would it be this or another thing as well?

There is no reason to go to pep boys . Read your manual and it will tell you. I assume you are talking about the drivers information center just above the odometer. The manual will tell you how to use the stalk to determine the mileage to the next service.

I don't see why everyone is freaking out in the dude. He wants a code bc his SES light is on. The manual would help no one in this situation. I don't have a bavtech tool so I went to autozone and had mine read, got a code, and looked it up on the Internet and found out what it was.

Nevermind I read it wrong, the car tells you what service needs to be done, in that situation just look in your manual.
