2011 335i Floor Mats
Hey everyone,
I absolutely love every bit of my car but the floor mats stink! For some reason, maybe I dig hard when I drive, but the heel of my shoes have destroyed the carpet in the floor mat and now there's a gaping hole through the mat in that spot. Does anyone else share this experience? It's not worth buying another BMW mat since I'm sure I will destroy it in short time. Does anyone have experience with some durable after-market mats? Thanks! I would've wrecked anything made of carpeted material in one season, therefore I've had all weather mats like these & my carpet is like new after three years:

When I brought my BMW from the first owner two years ago, he gave me 2 sets of BMW all weather floor mats. He never used the carpet mats so those are still in the Original packing from 09.
I've got a set of the old school all weather mats that look like these https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...hoC0oAQAvD_BwE and the newer looking ones like these https://www.bimmerworld.com/BMW-Inte...472311024.html |

That's rather amazing. My 2001 E46 325i still has the original factory floor mats, and, at 240+K miles, they are still nearly perfect!
Proves, once again, the E46 is overall FAR better quality than the E90. I've had SO many more problems with the E90, which has only ~140K miles on it. |

Hold on, what did I just smoke to go into the alternate reality where OP revives his own 10 year old thread with a pic from said 10 years ago

All that happened in the first year of ownership?? I had a 2011 e92 for the last two years, mats were starting to get worn at 86k but nothing like OP's pic
