Carrara White Marble Countertops in the Kitchen - best sealer?
Just got carrara white marble countertops in my kitchen, whats the best sealer/best practices to keep from getting this stuff stained?
I picked up some dupont stonetech bulletproof sealer for it as recommended from the stone shop, but figured I'd tap into the expertise here. Let me know, thanks. |

Nope. Front jungle juice to blood. Nothing has stained it. It shouldn't as long as you keep it sealed. Just use a cutting board and wipe shit off once it gets on there and you should be fine. Its pretty easy to keep clean and looking nice.

Check into 511 Impregnator Sealant by "Miracle Sealants" - One of the best stone sealants out there :
http://www.miraclesealants.com/s_511_impregnator.html 511 Impregnator is the original penetrating sealer designed for the protection of all medium to dense porous surfaces. 511 Impregnator forms an invisible barrier that is resistant to moisture and stains while allowing vapor to escape. 511 Impregnator is not a surface coating and will not alter the natural look. All surfaces treated are harder and less slippery. |

Agree ...Quite gutsy move for kitchen counter. Although, if it's sealed and maintained regularly, it should not be too bad. However, putting anything hot on the surface would really fuck it up and result in brownish/ yellowish marks which will not come out with anything except professional re-sanding and re-polishing.
