supercharge m3 or build a 240sx

I've been wanting to supercharge my m3 for a while now. And it could be reality by the next calendar year if everything goes right. But then I got to thinking, "well I don't know if I want to add boost and ruin an engine that cost $25k" I know a blown engine is a rare occurrence supercharged or not, but its still a worry for me. Then I thought, "hey for the price of a supercharger kit I could build a pretty decent 240" I've always wanted a 240 even though it is associated with the mad dorifito scene. So what are the opinions on this?

I'm not a 240 fan, and think strapping a blower to the e92m is a waste of money that will make the car worse (less reliable, less 'balanced')

supercharger anywhere from 13-15K. That could build a pretty nice tuner-ish car of some kind. And yes I could use another car for commuting duties.

240. A lot cheaper to make fast and, if something breaks, MUCH cheaper to fix.

Build the 240. I've always like them to. It will be fun, you'll have some variety in cars to drive and, will probably appreciate your M3 even more.

I think supercharging m3 would be cool but if you are scurred of trashing the engine up and want a second car, you may as well just get a used 350z (this is starting to replace the 240 in the drifting scene).

You could have an S2000 for that price. But buying a car is better than supercharging the M3, you are taking out as much as your are putting in.
