Thank goodness you didn't puke on the hood!

But PDR should be able to take the dent out no problem, as long as you didn't sleep on your watch on the hood or something that could scratch and break through the paint.

Is there anything I can do to fix the cup holder?

Just curious, was it the same incident which dented your hood and jammed your cup holder?

I am trying to think how those two problems could be connected.

Maybe you were being robbed by a hitchhiker, you slammed your brakes throwing the hitchhiker against the dasy adn thereby jamming your cup holder, you threw him out of the car, you started to drive off but he jumped on your hood. You slammed on your brakes again and he flew off the hood.

Read the above paragraph over and over again, and when you call your insurance company, maybe you will have a better memory of what happened.

I guess the cup holder incident happened after I got up and in to the car...

It is seriously jammed and will not release out. Ideas would be much appreciated.

All joking aside, I believe I saw a DIY for removing/repairing the cupholders. Just check the DIY section or search, I'm sure you'll find it. And PDR should work too.

Planking on the hood of your 3-Series and some how destroying your cup-holder... sounds like a night I would have loved to remember.

You could heat up the dent with a hair dryer and then use canned air held upside down to pop it out itself. The change it temperature will pop the dent, not sure if it will damage the paint, but I doubt it. I saw a video of this online once... As for the cup holder, I'm sure this is common so check DIY section or just search around online...

Edit: found one...

Suck it up & order a new cup holder. Have a body shop look at the hood, dumbass.

Remove the trim around the cup holders with a credit card or something similar. Then just unscrew the cup holder and take it out and see what's up with it. Well, that's what I did and it worked Try finding the DIY about LED's in a cup holder, it has detailed instructions on how to take it out

My cupholder got jammed and the dealership changed it for me on warranty. They did the whole process in around ten minutes

Any idea how much it might cost out of warranty?
