Unknown wire

There is this wire sticking out from underneath the right side of the rear seat. I recently got this car and have inspected it many times. I suspect this wire has been plugged and was tucked in the crevice underneath the rear seat and had just recently fallen out.

Anyone have any idea what this cable might be for? It doesn't look overly important but I don't want a dangling cable there...

Ejection seat harness?

I can't think of anything powered on the rear seats.

It's for transporting the car....it's suppose to be disconnected.

I believe it is used to power some electronics after they unplug the battery.....ie to open the trunk to reconnect the battery.

This has been covered numerous times.....

Fdriller is right, nothing gets connected to it. Its for when the car is new and being transported, a switch is connected to it. Just tuck it back under the seat
