software update; Nav downgrade?

had my e93 in for the recall and after they reprogrammed the software, the nav screen only zooms in to 400 ft; it used to be 200 ft. I brought it back, but the SA said they had another car in and the same thing happened.
why'd they do this? seems like a step back.
also not sure if it's related, but often my Sirius is missing channels 25-44 from the all channels list; they're still accessible by manually toggling up or down with the up/down button, but not through the i-drive wheel.

That is odd. Press your DTC button once and see if a message comes up saying something like "DTC De-Activated, DSC Limited." Then press and hold it and see if it comes up saying "DSC De-Activated."

The Navi units in both my '08 128i and '07 328i never went to 200 ft. 400 ft is the greatest detail available, both with the original DVDs and with the 2011 DVD.

my 06 only goes down to 400ft too. but i bought it with the iDrive already updated (silver/gray looking "home" screen).
