New to the forum, just ordered a 335i

I spent a long time lurking on this forum doing research, but now that I've actually pulled the trigger I thought I'd create an account and introduce myself. Yesterday I ordered my first new car ever from BMW of Manhattan, an E90 335i (Space Gray, M Sport, Performance Edition, 6MT). Needless to say I'm extremely excited. I had some reservations about buying a 3 series right at the end of this design cycle, but I really love the E90 design and I think I'll be happy no matter how the F30 turns out.

I was on the fence about the M Sport package until the very end; I decided I liked the body styling much better in person than pictures I've seen on the internet. I also wasn't a big fan of the wheels, but as luck would have it the dealer said that due to "dwindling supply" the M Sport now comes with wheel style 287 (the one that usually comes with the regular Sport package) which I like a lot better, so I went for it.

And now I'll settle in for the longest 6-8 weeks of my life. Thanks to everyone in this forum for all the help, I'll post some pictures when it finally arrives!

Really?! The m sport doesn't come with the other wheels? Shoot!! I was just about to order one. Hm...

Yeah, the M Sport comes with 287 S2S now; the dealer had just gotten a bulletin about it. I was tempted to do M Sport + 199 Star Spokes (which are similar to 287) but couldn't stomach the $4600 & tax. Plenty happy with 287s for free! Here's my photochopped version from bmwusa.com

I love these wheels, which look like my style 189 on my e92. They are strong, and easy to clean.
