Front Cig / Power adaper from pre-LCI to LCI

Anyone know if its possible to get the pre-LCI front center pocket (with the cig light power adapter) to easily swap with the (useless)pocket found in the LCI model?

Is there a plug under the center console in the LCI for it? I really hate the location of the front power adapter (under the glove box) in the LCI.

What is it for? Just do a hardwire using addafuse for the device. Takes ten minutes for someone with zero tech knowledge. $7 part.

You also need to wire the LEDs correctly if you want them to light up the ring around the cigg lighter port and the ash try itself.

OP, no idea if there is a plug for it already in your LCI. I doubt it because BMW stopped pre-wiring alot of features. Cooper is getting very expensive because we're very slowly running out.

Your best bet is to pull up your center console trim and look for yourself. My car has a molex type plug for the ashtray combo.
