My car has been making a slight tapping noise under load for the last month or so and have taken it to my local BMW specialist and they said that it was pinking. So i changed my fuel to Shell optimax and that has helped slightly but the noise is still there I have noticed that my bottom pulley is oscillating quite badly and was wondering if this could put the crank off balance and in turn knock the timing out slightly??? Any help would be gratefully apreciated as im amazingly fussy when it comes to my car and its driving me CRAZY!!!!
