Just as it says... heading to Moscow earlier than expected and haven't booked rooms or anything. I was hoping those that have been may be able to share some insights on where to stay ( 4 or 5 * and must be very near Red Square) and where to party (must be ridiculous)...
Anyone care to offer some advice? I'm looking to book the rooms asap, since I'm technically checking in today (their time). TIA |

There are many new hotels near red square that were built in the last 5 years and they all top notch, but very expensive. Around $1k a night or so.
Thats my best recommendation i can give you of top of my head.

anything around red square will be overpriced as shit.
Propaganda is great, but generally clubs there are retarded. Drinking age is 18, but as long as you have a passport (16 years old), you can get into a club/bar and get shitfaced. So in every club you see a bunch of fucked up kids. Some are worse than others. Do not go to Sorry Babushka. Its the stupidest place i've been to. Simachev Bar is kinda cool. Also, check out this place for lunch/dinner. Glavipivtorg. Love this place. im don't go there often enough to know anything there, but these are the ones i was taken to, as an american tourist. haha
