taking out BMW extended warranty when all warranty has lapsed

Hi all,

I believe Mondial now offer you the opportunity to take out an extended warranty even on a car that has run with no warranty at all for a set period of time.

I know the costs are higher and this is subject to a vehicle inspection: But does anyone know a rough cost of going this route and does it offer the same level of cover as the comprehensive warranty offered when the 3 year warranty lapses ("extended warranty") ?

Interested to know of anyone who has gone through this process - and whether the warranty is still treated in just the same way as an extended warranty or not.

Cheers

Yes I forget to renew it on both my cars.
The cost was about the same or just a few pounds more.
It is treated the same
No inspection was required
My cars are both under 60k
I pay 38 GBP per month on each 335i
I did not take the breakdown cover as I have green flag.

Oh - that's pretty cool then. I'll have an investigate.

Mega

I bought the wife a 54 plate x3 privately a few months ago. Bought a proper BMW warranty for it no problem, just need to ensure it has been serviced in accordance with manufacturers guidelines, and no claims are allowed in first 30 days.

hope that helps

Have you found the elusive lesser spotted Crimson Red E92 335d M-sport? Or is this for your E90?
