WTH....I got Pulled over for WHAT AGAIN??????? Are you serious...!

8:00 am
On my way to drop the munchkins off to school and daycare

Northbound on Jog road, coming up to southern blvd intersection, 3 lines, 4th line all the way to the right is only for right turn, I get stuck there somehow and I find my self at the lights with a palm beach W.PB.officer to my left, no one behind me at the right turn line
I lower my window and signal the PB.officer if its ok to merge to left

He gives me thumbs up, I have my signal on and all, light goes green I merge onto the northbound line, 1 minute later with the Police officer behind me he tuns on lights/sirens and pulls me over...OK, WTH?????

By the time he comes up to the window I have my license and registration in hand, he comes up to me, says good morning, sees little ones in the back and
I reply:

”hello, I thought you allowed me to merge to the left northbound line, sorry about that”

Officer: “Oh no, no need for those (my documents) I just wanted to know what the N54 stands for and WHAT KINDA WHEELS ARE THOSE (last sentence was asked w’ a lot of excitement) lol..!

Turns out he's got an e90 2010 335i w' the Sport pkg and he hates the wheels...!

I told him the n54 is just something I did to stand out and that it’s the motor designation and the wheels are LC 818 (Thx Yankis) But I have to go, late for the kids.

Nice guy.. he said
“No problem, I understand have a nice day and take care of that car I'll see you around again”

Me: “Thank you, just dont pull me over next time and scare the heck out of me...lol”

I've actually wondered why a cop would pull someone over just to ask questions or compliment them on the car. I mean, he has no idea if you're on your way to the airport, a meeting, the hospital, or something otherwise important. It's nice that there are enthusiast police out there, and I will always entertain questions, in a parking lot, at a GTG, anytime I'm otherwise available, but pulling someone over on a weekday during a commuting time, and made you late I consider to be pretty intrusive. Cool he didn't give you a ticket, but seriously, N54, LMGTFY. Drive by, give a thumbs up, and leave people to their business.

there's nothing wrong with the badge, except the fact that the lettering seems crooked un unevenly spaced. its not like he has an M badge on it.. I see no problems here.

The N54 badge is ok. The M stripes and the Nurburgring stickers are a bit much.

hmmmm...well, the M stripes are just for the "motorsports" side of things, there is no M. as far as the Nurburgring sticker goes, it stays no matter what...lol

Nice! Should get to know the officer. Sometimes if you state the names of officers your friends with and you get pulled over, they'll just give you a warning. Might work for ya. At least here in Texas.

By the way, what dual pipe tips did you get for your exhaust? I like.
