exhaust idea? opinions

i was thinking about doing a magnaflow muffler with quad tips on my 325 but i started thinking about keeping the stock muffler and adding an electric exhaust cutout with a straight pipe to the other side so one side will be stock exhaust and the other side will have the cutout to make a muffler delete that i can turn off on demand. what do you guys think?

Oh; now I get the idea. I thought you wanted to run quads; both at the same time.

Just make sure you weld the same tips on both sides or else it'll look funny. But I dont encourage anything that has anything to do with a muffler delete. Some like it; some find it garbage.

if your thinking of going the magnaflow route i would just go with the 14815 muffler with the tips it has on it and call it a day if the MD isant your thing

I think 4 cats produce enough back pressure. I wonder if the 325 had provisions for the vacuum operated exhaust flap. That way you won't have to rig up any electrical stuff.

if your going to do quads, do it right

Get a Magnaflow 2.5" inlet and dual 2.25" outlet, and run a 335 bumper, then do the piping from the muffler to each respective side - that will sound clean and with a resonator delete it will bubble and pop just like you want it too

Or I can make a CSv2 for you, which also bubbles during a downshift, but is not the best option for a quad setup

We can build a system for you and ship it over, then all you need to do is get it installed at a local shop, we have done a few custom build for members on here. Post up, or drop me a PM if you need some help

IIRC, CSv2 = city sleeper version 2, which is gavin's custom muffler made from a stock muffler.

The quad setup gavin did for the maroon e90 with the stock bumper and 335 diffuser was beyond sick, SO clean looking...by far my favorite setup that ive seen. Maybe one day in my dreams ill have that on my mystic smurf lol
