Single or relationship?

With all these relationship drama threads, I would be inclined to think it's best to stay single.

BUT...

There has to be pros and cons to the single life and the not so single.

For example, the good about being in a rel's is consistent vag. The bad is potential drama.

Good thing about being single is more money. The bad is potential to be foreveralone.jpg

I have been single all through college and enjoyed it, I liked being with different girls and not being "tied down"

Now that I feel like i'm getting older I feel like I should start trying to be more relationship orientated, as I have been finding, its kinda hard to find girls that honestly want "serious" relationships.

actually if you're in a serious relationship you can end up with more money than if you are single. dual income household with no kids means lots of money

True, but depends on what stage of the relationship. If it's BF/GF (at least for me), it's still mostly my income on dates and shit, but she will chip in here and there. If engaged and beyond then it's pretty gravy then.

Plus, I'd never live with a GF, only engaged and up.

Well I live in CA ran into a few couples who never married, officially but lived together and some actually had kids together. CA is common law state so the fact you are not married does not save your ass from loosing it all. Hell, Gene Simmons is actually going to get married because he could loose it all if he does not married his woman, you know she will take it all.

But, if you plan on not getting married why let them move in, just keep them at a distance that is the only way save your money from the lawyers and courts. I am not sure if you indefinitely date someone and never let them move in or put cloths in your house can they claim common law marriage. One thing i heard is if you present yourself to the public and friends as being married that could cause you problems.

Can you get the benefits of both worlds and not lose your money.

lol yea i read in forbes or some other financial publication that the #1 factor contributing to building personal wealth is to never get a divorce

but if you're smart about who you marry then dual income is awesome

Single life is a big plus for me. I can do what I want when I want how I want and not have to worry about someone trying to change my mind or guilt me into anything. I dont dislike relationships at the moment but maybe someday in the future. To many ****** trying to change what I do. I really could use a a girl to come walk my dog while I am at work and then leave before I get home or maybe stay for a hour and then go after some sexy time.
