If you could do it over....
Between the ages of 20-25 and 25-30, what would you have done differently knowing what you know now? For example, if you are currently working at job "A", but turned down job "B", should have gone straight to grad school instead of working, or should have majored in something different, etc....
Lets hear it... |

got in trouble over a dispute with a motorcycle collision repair i started when i was 21(i did it 100% amaturely), i put 500+ labor into fixing this guys bike and he decided to blow his insurance money on other crap, said he never authorized me to start working on it/ordering parts to i pulled the motor, dropped his bike off at his house and told him to kick rocks... and sold the motor to recoup my loss. apparently thats considered theft and i spent alot of time money keeping it off my record.... woulda handled that with a lot more maturity and thought it through more lol
also would have moved back into my parents and went back to school. i have a good career now, decent resume, and make pretty good money. but had i gotten a degree i could be making a lot more in the same position and better chance of rehire if i ever get surplussed in this economy. last but not least... woulda kept a more fbgm mentality, and stuck with it |

I am 25 at the moment and posted this to help guide me in what seems like a crossroads in my life. I went to community college right after high school to figure out what I wanted to do. I started my own business from scratch and as the business grew, my class enrollment shrunk. I have been fortunate enough to experience a great deal of success with the business. I earn more than most of my friends and acquaintances from high school who have graduated already.
I feel my business is on the cusp of the next level, but in order to get there will require a lot more risk and time... with the possibility it will amount to nothing. Very recently, I have experienced a decline in revenue (which could be viewed as normal or just a small dip on a graph). I am a new home owner and this decline spooked me enough to consider other income options. I always heard how hard it is to find a job, but never had to look for the last 4 years. Just browsing other jobs (some that my affluent clients hold) looks intimidating having not finished school yet. Don't know whether to push forward into the unknown with a shot at even more success, or lock up my entrepreneurial spirit in a case in the attic and finish school and get a stable desk job...(was looking at medical sales/IT consulting because my current business requires skills related to those fields) |

I'm still in my mid 20's, but I wish in my late teens early 20's I would've had a clearer idea of what I wanted to do with my life. Took an extra couple of years to figure that out... |

Sophomore year in college here, but if I had a chance to do it all over. I'd get reallly good grades in hs, as looking back now it was 4 years of nothing but a waste of time.

I wish I hadn't trusted people with my career. If I had followed up on some paperwork instead of trusting lazy ass people to do their job I would still be on the beaches of Spain instead of here in Ohio.
