The dog ended up recovering if you read the poster's comments. This actually happened over a year ago. People don't get how dangerous wild animals can be. How did you think the mother is going to react when threatened? The dog appeared to be approaching.
It is amazing how dumb some people can be. As I was leaving work today I watched a tourist get out of her car and walk within 15 feet of a bull elk with full rack. Brilliant idea during rutting season. One of these days we're going to have a dead tourist that got a little too close to one of these beautiful but dangerous beasts. |

I think I saw something, maybe on MANswers or another program, that deer injure man the most among wild animals. People approach them, probable to pet them, not realizing they're dangerous.
