How often do you charge your iPhone 4S?

How often do you charge your iPhone 4S? I do it atleast 2-3x a day, with half of Notifications Off and 3-4 Apps in Location Services enabled. And I turn off the Apps when I'm done using it, I do use WiFi though

Yeah I don't think I could tolerate that if I had a 4s. I charge my S2 once a day, just like my old iPhone 3g back in the day.

you Charge it 2-3 times a day... with stuff turned off? i go through a whole day and its at 63% right now. I play a shitton of games, do some web surfing, check email, a ton of texts and a few phone calls. nothing turned off or turned down.

Have you drained the battery fully then recharged it a few times? It makes a big impact.

Actually, I think the update did improve battery. in 7 hours, i lost 39% of battery. Wifi is on and I was using my iphone most of the time.

When people complain about battery life they throttle the power down for reception and for Wifi but then people complain about poor GSM reception and poor wifi reception. These two need power. The better reception for 3G and for Wifi that you need the more power that they will draw from your battery.

The great thing about HTC devices is that you can carry an extra battery with you to just swap when your battery goes dead. In the US most people spend quite a bit of time in their cars so charging should not be too much of an issue.

i work in a cubicle.

i toss my phone on the charger almost immediately when i get to work.

it stays on it for @ 80% of the day. when it's not on the charger, i can tell the battery life is gonna be garbage.....

p.s.
i just got my 4S on Wednesday so i'm still new to it.

i would say the battery life is about the same as my old junk 3GS - and yes, that's bad

also, after i throw it on the charger, i start listening to iTunes and/or start running through my 140 music videos.

it still charges the battery so i'm ok with that.....

once a day. I can get about 20 hours in on a full charge with normal usage.

go to your settings, general, and then check your usage and tell us what your numbers are from the last full charge? that should let us know if its normal or not.

p.s. some tips i heard that might work is, dont use it for like 20% from 100 and then charge it again... or use it while you are simultaneously charging. Let it drain completely to 1-3% and then let it recharge completely. Heard you see some improvements on battery life after a few cycles

your battery life is gonna be garbage in the long run if you keep using it while its on the charger... you're suppose to run the battery all the way down and and then recharge it.

using it while its at 100% and still on the charger kills overall battery life =\

I followed these tips and my battery went from terrible to tolerable. It really made a huge difference. Also be sure to download the new software update 5.0.1

I have the 4 but by the end of the day mine is spent. I do spend a lot of time on the web and forum though, Bluetooth, and always in 3G. If I had to charge my phone 2 the 3 times a day I would be pissed!

I disabled everything in the Notification Center, disabled all location services I deemed unnecessary, and went into System Services and disabled everything but Call Network Search. I do not think it is necessary but I've kept it on anyway.

I have noticed a huge difference. I've used the phone a little bit since I did this (no calls, a few texts), taken it out of sleep probably 15 times and opened one or two applications and after about three hours I'm still at 100%. I even had a GPS app running for a few minutes.

Wasn't aware of this. So is it harmful to the battery if your phone is connected to an audio device and charging at the same time?

I charged it last nite, we'll see how it goes. So far it's like 1% per hour without using anything, haven't made a call or text
