AUDI S5 im getting it! sorry bmw
yep so i contacted a military sales program that will get me the car at dealer invoice! wich is below msrp btw!
i was contimplating the 335i coupe the g37 and the new M3 and im pretty sure i came out with the best deal here. Ive gone back and forward and back again on what to get. i ended up getting a pretty good deal on the 335i with a base price of 37,050. IMHO i believe the s5 has the best looks of the 4 and the power is about average! quality is prob top notch just below the m3. Ne-one know about the audi mmi stuff? does that come standard with navigation? the s5 comes standard with MMI so im just wondering. sorry guys i really wanted the 335i coupe but the looks of the s5 just get me going i cant wait! |

Great looking car -
It will be quicker than a stock 335i, but wont touch an m3. That's why its priced in between. I hope you enjoy diving it. Most people in AUDI'S DON'T, and from the press reports its a GT not a sports coupe. In my opion you should have saved $/£ and bought a 335i and enjoyed the drive more, or waited for the m3. If you could not wait then buy an RS4. You mention a good deal which is important, but if you were looking at cars at that price range why compromise something you have to live with for a few thousand bucks you could afford. This whole forum is about guys starving their families to pursue a passion. |

your apology is barely accepted lol. its a great car. just make sure to let us all know about EVERY little problem you run through. and the fact that Audi cant manage with their current systems, makes me laugh that they are releasing a more complex electrical system. enjoy the errors!
no seriously, after 3 months of ownership. please. let me know all the little things that mess up. and maybe, you could do a little write up on BMW quality vs Audi. who knows? maybe the Audi might just hold up. but for me? my BMW Loyalism stays. i will NEVER leave BMW for Audi. unless i get a Evo 7 GSR with >200mi on it in french blue. then thats a different story, but ill still have an bmw in my garage. on a personal note: i must comment on Audi's interior quality. its extremely poor, plastic peices are always chipping off, everything in the interior has that "cheap" plastic feel, as if the car were assembled in a sweat shop in Taiwan. Interior wear in tear is extreme vs bmw. the front seat's rear enclosure rips off easily (like the c class) and leather seems are inferior. infact, Audi (in america) use Pleather. its actually synthetic leather. read the fine print in the manual. BMW is genuine leather. the idea that im getting at is that Audi has the worst interiors in the german car line up. i think VW does a better job, but then again, VW's arent as bad, they ARE underrated. Audi is Overrated. BMW is overly critisized, and MB is (the most) overrated car ive ever seen. so. at the end of the day, its all your choice, but this is my HORRID experience with many Audi's, both American assembled and German assembled. however, if it is your final choice, i HOPE nothing goes wrong with it, as it is a sexy looking beast. heh. but the E92 M3 plays with my peter in all the right ways. audi. doesnt.

I would be more concerned about what kind of loaner car they will give you. I have owned 3 Audi's (all of them were purchased new)...2 S4's and an A4 and they were in the shop so frequently that it made me vow to never buy another one. My S4's were great cars when they were running well and the A4 was just okay.
