wow, been a super long day, but it's finally here! sorry i don't have many pics, but i'm a bit exhausted to bust out the DSLR at this hour! but here she is:
will probably have more time this weekend to snap more details. overall, the truck is pretty awesome in-person. i've got to say it's really addicting to sit so high up. it doesn't look that big until you're up next to a couple of the other larger SUVs out there. let me know if you guys have any questions or things you're itching to know!

Very nice indeed. I love how it has the same profile as my '91 Range Rover. I'd love to get a new Sport.
Pics of the rear? It has an "Autobiography" badge in place of the "Supercharged" one, right?

after a few days with the car, i definitely have found some things that aren't quite on par with what i had hoped, but not a big deal IMO. i've also found things that are pleasantly surprising.
1. 825W Harmon/Kardon system kind of sucks. My E92 M3 stock system (not enhanced stereo option) sounds 5x better. 2. British automakers aren't too great with their electronics. The Germans have this area mastered (Porsche PCM, BMW iDrive, etc) 3. The rear seats and interior in general is really poorly lit when you open the door! It's really surprising as adding lights so simple and has such a huge effect when you unlock the car. BMW ambient lighting really makes the RRS interior lighting look like amateur hour 4. Still not used to the front windshield defroster filaments.. Things that blow me away: 1. The leather is awesome. It's really outstanding as far as build quality, feel, looks etc. I get so many remarks about how beautiful the tan looks. The matte finish of brand new leather is always so awesome! I love the smell of new car. 2. Sumatra Black is more like a Satin Charcoal Blue/Gray Black. It is jet black under most lighting, but under the certain lighting, it has a very fine grain texture that looks like a satin charcoal (silver + black) with a slight hint of bluish gray. It, however, is nothing like Carbon Black Metallic from BMW which is essentially blue pearl over black. The color blows me away though as it has so much depth and texture to the way it looks. The bluish gray satin charcoal black has a very sophisticated and refined look to it. Not something your average paint shop mixes up. I have always been on the Jet Black size of the Jet Black vs. Jerez/Carbon Black discussion; this is the first metallic black that's gotten me thinking differently! 3. The power tailgate is great. Never lived without one, so I can't speak to have window access, but the boot accessibility is super easy with it. 4. The engine has so much torque, but the throttle response is really nonlinear, so sometimes the car kind of jumps from a stop under very light pressure. Coming from an M3, it's a bit new to me to have so much torque at idle! It's funny driving around in the RRS as the people who look at you are a whole different set of people. With the M, the FIs + 380mm Brembos usually make most car junkies turn to look; women however could give two sh*ts bout the gigantic yellow brakes and the lovely Akrapovic noise.. the RRS, on the other hand, has a lot more women looking :P

Lol the Harmon Kardon system was complete ass in my E46 M3 as well so that's no surprise at all.

I loved the HK system in my 06 Rangie. Only complaint was that it had a built-in volume limiter that was a bit too low. But you are right about the cabin electronics. I didn't mind the system in my 06, but the Jaguar system in the current Range Rovers really is terrible.
Still haven't decided if I like the new for 2012 rear trim strip. But there is nothing like driving a Range Rover. they just feel special

Nice Rover truck. My wife has the HK in her 135i and it sounds pretty damn good on the inside. On the outside though, the bass is a bit much...
