Does this make sense

The starter in the vehicle was replaced, that was under warranty since they replaced it in April of this year

Car wouldnt start again last week, a PUMA was set out, and now the CAS Unit needs to be replaced. I asked what that was and the dealership stated that its the ingition system that keeps voltage to the starter until it starts.

Wouldnt that be part of the starter?

The cost of the repair was 880, I signed off on the repair last week

Requested an update today and the service rep said

"Sent to shop foreman, He’s handling your vehicle, Still does not start every time"

Shouldn't i get my money back for the repair. How should I go about addressing my concerns without going off on them

If the car is under warranty, then you shouldn't have had to pay for anything. Why would you have signed off on an $880 repair without asking if it would be covered?

Otherwise, if you have paid for the repair, then it is the dealer's responsibility to make sure that the car is working correctly. You shouldn't have to pay another dime, but you will not be receiving your money back unless the repair should have been covered.

The car is out of warranty but the starter was replaced in April and then again in June

They replaced it again under warranty but it still wasnt working properly so then they came back to me about this CAS unit that needed to be replaced which is why i authorized the 880. Apparently this isnt working either

So get call today

These fuckers charged me an additional 800 for the towing and car rental!

Vehicle still does not start at times, will need to engage more than once to start. Another 850 to diagnose additional harness

a bill of 1600
