While my mom doesn't do that, she does usually take out her reading glasses when she uses her iPhone because the font is small. I then showed her under the accessibility options how you can increase the font, and triple tap to zoom in. She no longer needs to take out her glasses every time she wants to use the phone!

Maybe you should have helped him out
