320i Exhaust Emissions Light
Hey Guys,
I'm new to the forum, I drive a 57 plate 320i M Sport Coupe and my dashboard is showing the yellow engine block which I believe to be the exhaust emissions light. I am looking for some guidance should I have a garage connect diagnostics to see what is wrong or is there a way of resetting this light? Some people have told me that it could be because I had been using supermarket petrol, is this an urban myth? I have since stopped using this kind of petrol. |

hi, i had the same problem with my e93 320i, the engine management light came on for no reason, Car drove perfectly. The light turned off by itself a few days later for me. I was told by BMW that it could be a faulty sensor. Not too fussed now that the light has gone off.

I now have this same problem on my 2006 335i it came on whilst I was giving it the beans on a straight. I am considering buying this diagnostic cable / reader / resetter etc. http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-Fault-co...item27c62a62a8
Has anyone else bought this or got opinions on it? Is it as good as the more expensive ones as they say? Thanks in advance |
