LSD !
Hello,
Iīm thinking on getting an LSD for my E90, but i need to know more about the effects, the drive, the bottom line whatīs the Plus for the drive? Ok i have the idea that with it my inside wheel isnīt going to "spin off" not loosing traction, the way it happens today... And this is suppose to give better handling...? The negitive aspects...? For ppl that all ready have, what were the difs? Best vox |

Once you get used to the rear end sliding it is way easier to predict and correct a RWD slide in a car with an LSD than without. Open diffs have unpredictable breakaway due to torque shifting between the rear wheels vs. the LSD car's more or less locking the wheels together when you push hard on the gas. Trust me on this, and I believe I speak for everyone who has learned to drive WITH LSD: Once you get it you will never be able to drive without one again. It is what makes RWD so fun!

Ok, It makes sense...
But BMWs are great cars, powerful, but more unstable for the regular driver that cames from the FWD. My questions is why BMW only makes the Ms with "LSD"? If itīs a extra in for security and the drive it self...? Best vox |
