Does anyone knows if the dealer charges you for painting the wheels black on a car that i ve leased at returning it???? Please advise

In general, if the paintwork is professional and in good shape then you should be okay.

If it looks like a clown car then you could have some pushback as it would not be professional.

For example, if someone intentionally scratched all four wheels then you would have the right to fix them. The fact that you used a slightly darker color would not be material.

Read you lease docs again carefully to see if there could be a problem. I would think you are ok since cars do get in accidents and repairs do not match exactly.

Generally speaking if you trade it in on another BMW they'll usually let you slide on stuff too. But like BMWrules7 said, usually if the job is done right they won't flip their lid.

Ok thank for the advised, i just bought a 535i M sport package in alpine white and i think it would look so much better if i paint the wheels flat black.

If you can spare the extra $$, I would pick up a set of used wheels in the classifieds or some repros from somewhere like **********s.com and paint them. This way you don't risk the dealer trying to rape you when you bring it back and you could even resell them at a later date.

I think this vossen cv3 wheenls look so awesome on this car. I am really thinking in getting these wheels what do u think , any recommendations on wheels???
