E90 Short Shifter

I have a 06 330i manual tranmission and the first few gears feel very sloppy, has anyone put in a a short shifter if so, what kind, how much of a differnece did it make, what did you pay, and did you install it yourself?

This was discussed some time ago. Some folks installed the Rogue Engineering SSK and were pleased with the results (follow the link): http://www.rogueengineering.com/Merc...ry_Code=OCTPRI

In addition, they say an OEM SSK is coming soon as part of the new 'Performance Catalog'.

any actual price or release date?
am thinking of getting one soon

I bought the CDV from Zeckenhausen Racing and a SSK from Rogue, I hope to have them installed later this week

You'll enjoy that combo, it tightens up the overall shifting experience nicely.

short shifter maks a huge difference.
