I'm not really on the IT side of computers, but this is fast as shyt right? What kind of speeds you guys getting?

I would fuckin OWN Call of Duty with that connection...

My numbers are around 40's Download, 30's upload and ping is around 12... And that's a pretty GOOD connection here WTF

, you're either using a college's internet connection or a big businesses. If this was residential and not commercial it would be different.

Very unhappy with my ISP, though speeds have gotten much better this past ~year. I'd sometimes see 500 kbit down speeds before then

Worked at a national lab with a gigabit line, never got to run a speedtest on it...

lol, yes this is at work. If somebody had this at home I'd think the fed's would be knocking. But still, who can top this anywhere? I talked to some of the guys in IT and they said we have our own pipeline through that fios shyt.

Basically, you can probably get sucked into the interwebz over here.

Believe it or not over here broadband packages always say speeds "up to" and people get shit speeds like 3mb. Mines is considered good here (fibre optic connection and I will be getting a free upgrade to 20mb in a few months). As you can see I'm faster than 59% of U.K. However, there are some packages over here for like 100mb but I don't see the need.

Yeah, gov't lines to process large amounts of data on machines across the country. Only specialized job servers had access I think, not like you could load up some utorrent

Well, I do work at a community college and as you can see, it looks like we have our own ISP. That's the best answer i could give. When I did a speedtest on my work computer I damn near fell out of my chair.

I've gotten up to 158Mb/s download as the highest, but couldn't duplicate the result.
