Unethical job?

Kinda a random thought but would you guys consider body brokering an unethical job? To the point where it would be frowned upon? Of course there are a ton of legal issues, but provided it is done legally and with all parties consent, how do you guys see it?

Is a body broker the new euphemism for pimp?

Hahahaha no not at all. Like someone who sells organs to sick rich people who want to skip the wait for a transplant. How organs are sourced can make all the difference, IMO.

I think that's actually illegal (unless you're doing it somewhere outside of the US). As long as you stay on the right side of the law, body brokering is kind of ghoulish, but not unethical. People have been doing it for a long time. It's how medical students used to get cadavers to practice on, before the med schools got more organized about getting bodies.

Usually what I've heard is that the organ is sourced from outside the US, and the transplant itself happens outside the country as well.

Also, remember that depending on where you're sourcing organs and doing the transplants, your legal rights and the honestly of the police force might be different from what you expect in the US of A. Body brokering in foreign countries sounds like a good way to end up in jail or killed in a alley for "spare parts".

Yes. Sounds like a great Alfred Hitchcock plot. Imagine if the broker falls on tough times, gets sick, then has to plead for a vital organ but can't make the cut? Lol.

what kind of job is this?

its not like you have spare organs to make a little extra cash.

things you have 2 of,
eyes (how much would you need to take out an eye)

kidney ( can get one transplanted for roughly 10k in asia) so your kidney is work about 5k anyone on a bmw forum should make that in a month

lung (high risk for surgery to remove it, and your life style will be drastically different)

partial liver (high risk of death/complication) cant drink booze anymore

You're a broker, not a donor.

Exactly. You make the connections, and make it as easy as possibly for the guy paying big bucks for new guts.
