side mirrors help

when i put my 06 330i into reverse the mirrors don't move downward, the left and right mirrors used to move downwards when i put into reverse, why did they suddenly stop? help

Move the mirror adjusted to the driver side mirror, and it should just be the pass. mirror tilting down.

When the tab to decide which mirror you are moving is position for the passenger side the passenger mirror will not tilt for reversing. Put it in the driver side position.
