E90 93,000 Water Pump/Stat took a dump

Alright so no sh*t there i was knee deep in hand grenades driving down to Destin, Florida from Fort Bragg, North Carolina. It was 83 degrees outside and i was about 50 miles from Savannah GA. And yea yellow temp goes on then red temp light goes on. Yes i got stranded on the side of I-95. Long story shot and 2 tow straps $140 in gas and $155 in improper towing ticket and 24 hours later i made it home.

anyone know of any of parts on E90,92 that take a straight dump? besides HPFP

Yea now that I think of it and read other peoples pumps going out at 60ish K I don't think it's that bad but!! I need to find out if it's under my certified pre Owened warranty. Anyone know about this?

Should be covered under CPO. If you had CPO you could have had BMW tow it too...

If it's actual BMW CPO then you are good for 7yr/100k.

If it was some dealer/aftermarket warranty then who knows. Check your paperwork.

Mine died at 103xxx km. I don't know if it has ever been changed before. I don't think it was due the fact that my water pump and thermostat where aluminum and the ones I got from the dealer were plastic
