Data Display for all you E9x drivers that like gadgets
While browsing on Inside Performance website; I came across this beauty (hope it not been posted on here already). Would be great for all you 335i/d drivers.
http://www.insideperformance.de/onli...roducts_id/215 Hi-resolution multicolor digital Display / Interface - perfectly integreated into the air-vent unit. Displays a lot more additional car data - without the need of any additional sensors / interfaces (much more than a digital gauge). Plug & Play installation. Data is read directly from the car-internat CAN-Bus system. Available for all models of E90 E91 E92 E93 and M3 Displays the following data in the basic version: - torque (not on 335i) - cooling water temperature - oil temperature - voltage - speed (including Vmax) - acceleration data (0-100 / 0-200 km/h) - boost / charge-air pressure (only 335i and Diesel engines) Display can be controled via your existing steering wheel buttons! professional version is available with even more features (about +250€): - acceleration force and lateral acceleration - engine power / performance (PS / HP) - performance and torque diagram - only BMW M3: rear differential temperature, gas pressure, gearbox oil temperature (on BMW M3 a special version is needed: +100€ extra)

Looks sweet
Too bad it's $560+ Wonder if it could be installed in the far left DS vent instead of center vent - I can barely feel anything coming out of that vent anyway...

There is another thread already...
The manufacurer is AWRON http://www.awron.de/hauptnavigation/...isplaysysteme/ It's cheaper to purchase directly from AWRON than from InsidePerformance (at least in Europe) |

Ouch, I just saw this same thread up 10 minutes ago. Looks like a really cool product. I like where they mounted the gauge, gives it a nice and clean look. Price tag is a bit iffy though.

Really like it, probably wouldnt be much use for me cause I only understand a few of the displays. If you can get it on the far side for the front passenger vent I might go for it.

To impress or scare the passenger. Its one thing to see how fast you're going from the window but knowing the actual speed adds a bit more excitement. Also as a simple interior mod piece that wouldnt effect my usual usage of the car much. |
