Scratched Jack Stop
I hit the jack stop on a small decline and rubbed some of it off. Do you think its anything to worry about it, the car dropped about an inch on top of it.
Any comments would be appreciated. I know I am probably being paranoid. Thanks Everyone! |

Don't worry about it. I did the same thing two days after owning this *low to the ground* car. Merely did it on a speed bump. It's not a noticeable thing and when its ever needed, there's likely plenty of padding left.

Yeah mine are all busted to hell. Don't worry about it unless it's physically gone, and even then it's probably not that big of a deal, as long as you have a tall jack. But I've heard you can buy replacement ones that just pop in. Don't know any details though.

I did the same thing going over a speed bump, after a while the thing just fell out onto my garage floor. I just put it back in place whenever I need to use that jackpoint.

Yup, you're fine. It's there just for an extra cushion when you jack up your car and so it can be easily found. Just as long as you jack up the car at those jack points, you should be fine.
