Service engine light...Read codes

Hey guys. I noticed the engine light on and read the codes with my dad today. Apparently it has something to do with the fuel trim bank systems 1&2. Here is the code autotap gave back
Would this have anything to do with the aFe oiled intake I installed? People have had problems with oil particles sticking to the maf sensor so maybe the intake is the culprit? Please help! Thanks Guys

I just posted a similar issue below. My car stalling is throwing the same codes, along with p1424, which relates to the secondary air pump. Are you having any issues with surging idle or stalling?

No starting problems but just a few surges here and there. Do you have an intake on as well?

I take it you have an AFE CAI? I had the same exact issue when I had that CAI on. It also wound up fucking up one of the sensors (not the MAF though), not sure which one it was but my car was under warranty at the time so I threw the stock back on and got it fixed.

Oh it was the oxygen sensor............

For both of you guys, are/were you running the oiled filter? I called them up and im switching to the dry filter and hopefully it fixes the issue

No I was running the dry filter. It has something to do with the surge of air that the car pulls under acceleration when running a AFE CAI. All my Engine running rich issues went away when I went back to stock box. At this point I'm running a eurobox intake, with an oiled K&N cone filter, and once again no problems. And like I said at this rate it's only a matter of time before you mess up your oxygen sensor.

AFE CAI is only great for the sound and a slight harder pull when you're going over 50mph. The CAI robs you of HP on take off and low end speeds, especially on hot summer days (and you're in FL).
