Will 1 series wheels fit on a 3 series???????
I have a question I have been offered a set of 17" from a one series BMW , not a mark on them and got winter tyres on already with at least 5 mm tread... They were on a 135i so has 6 pot brakes and went on on problems... Will they fit on my car ?? offsets and pdc..... I don't know???.. Any help would be great

Would need to know a bit more about the exact type of wheels, off set almost certainly will be different, doesnt mean they wouldnt fit though. Also 5mm on winters is not necessarily the same as 5mm on summers. Winters aren't really useable down to 1.6mm so don't assume you've got loads of miles left on them

Either of the two types will fit though, but you'll need a minimum of a 10mm spacer on all four wheels to make them look OK. What have you got -E90/1/2/3?

No, they won't fit. Having had 130i and sold it I tried my winters on the 330d. Not only was the offset wrong but the centre hole was a fractionally different size.

The majority of Bmw's share the same PCD:5x120 & the same bore 72.5, it's certainly the case with the E82 & E9x. Offsets on the E82 range from ET35-45 Offsets on the E90/92 from ET34-39 (generally) The Spider spoke 142 17" wheel has an offset of ET47 on both the front 7J & the rear 7.5J,hence the need for a minimum of a 10mm spacer.
