Insurance - Am I wrong to think this is a Con...
My 320D ED is Insurance group 28
Called Admiral to insure it and they advised my premium would go up over my last car because they list it as being Insurance group 35 So I questioned this and they said that I was absolutley right, my car is Technically a group 28 but that their underwriters have deemed it 35 So it doesnt really matter what group it really is they will just group it however they want anyway .... So whats the point in the car even having an insurance group? |

I've never found any direct link between insurance groups and the cost of the policy.
Some highly rated cars come in cheaper than lower rated cars for me. |

Tell me about it. I took a Golf GTI (1.8 Turbo) in part exchange for my Ausi S4 (4.2 V8) and was more expensive on the Golf for insurance.
My 335d is only £100 more to insure than my 2.0 TDI Quattro A4 was too. Less than £1 per BHP. Bargain. |
