I'm still gathering info and prices in order to upgrade my audio and it's been a bit of a task to be honest, what happened to the good old days of two wires... lol

Anyway, I'm getting conflicting info re the size of the under seat subs. Some say 8.5", 6" and 6.5". Ya see this setup has 6.5" wooofers ?

It depends on your spec.

In base spec the underseats are 6.5" glued onto an 8" enclosure. In Hifi and Logic 7 they are 8".

You should be looking for 8 inch subs if you are thinking of upgrading under seat subs.

Just when I thought I'd cracked it.

Mine is a non Logic 7 system so do I assume they are 6.5" If so can I upgrade to 8" with the same enclosuers ?

Yes you can. Refer to 2nd page of 'coding to hi-fi unit today' and I fitted SWS-8s in OEM enclosures.

You will require weather seal, some modification of original enclosures and polycarbonate plastic sheet (+glue gun) to cover gaps b.w oem subs and after market subs.

be careful. The hifi system (which is NON logic 7) also has 8" woofers. Its only if you have the very base system that they are 6.5"
