Yeah, excellent read- it is not an M per se, just an M-Sport. The "M" version of the 1 (I'm not sure they resolved the M-problem; remember the "real M1" retracting headlights supercar?) is supposed to get the same M engine as the e46 M3, and therefore the new Z4 M

It must be a missprint - the 130 does 0-100 km/h in 6.1 and is based on the e90 platform-it could not weigh more than the platform donor. |

![]() Go to 'video' for a test between the Golf R32, 130i and the Opel Astra OPC, the 130i needs an lsd, just like my 330i: http://www.kabeleins.de/info/aa/auto...ndex.php?23704 And we tested my 330i on the Autobahn near Cologne vs the 2 130is: On par. No differences between 100-250kmh, so.... :rocks: |

I'd rather like a lightweight 125i with a 250hp, 8500rpm 2.5L inline-4. That'd be the E30 M3's true successor.
Or the next best thing would be an S54-powered M hatch. |
