F30 330d

The F30 330d is now on the BMW UK website. Seems like it is only marginally more expensive than the E90 330d.

I think its cheaper. In the case of the M Sport - you get the auto sport 8 speed 'box as standard and leather as standard. Add those options to the old E90 330d price and you'll find the F30 330d is cheaper I think.

Shame it so fecking Fugly though. I was going to get one, but that front end put me right off. Maybe it'll grow on me though, and a few years down the line, once they have a x-driven touring, I may be tempted.

Bit like an ugly girlfriend. You get used to them and then don't notice

Actually I think the F30 looks good.

About the price, I specced an F30 on the BMW website with about the same options as my E90 330d and it came up to about £1000 or so more, so I think it is a bit more expensive.

? A weak euro would surely make it cheaper in £'s

True. I forget. I get paid in Euros, so the weak euro gets me less money every month.

Yes I'm not keen on the front end. When I saw one in the flesh at the dealers the other week I dont like the way the front bonnet line is straight across the front. Why couldnt they include the bit where the badge is, down to where the grille is as part of the bonnet, like the E90?

0-60 in under 6 seconds too. I wonder what the 335d will do if the 330 is that quick!?

Not sure about the squared up front end, but it would defo be better if they extended the bonet to the grills and got rid of that line in the middle.

I do like the interior from the pics I've seen, give it a few years and I'll get one.

Is the Auto the new 8 speed torque converter rather than a double clutch?

Heard its a good box. Read a review of the 135i which uses it.

Yup, me too, and I'm sure it's great for smoothness and efficiency, but just leaves my left foot wanting .

Seems like 'dinosours' like me who prefer a manual will be destined to drive older cars as a good-old manual box becomes obsolete .

Very keen pricing from FleetLine for 2 year contract hire. Far better than BMW.

M Sport is coming in at £369.90 for 3+23/£331.63 6+23 That's pretty good when you consider leather and metallic are standard. BMW's prices are over £100 per month more.
