its going to be a great season, miami and chicago in the east and lakers and okc in the west

i still think we'll have a repeat of last years final, okc is only going to get better. I like howard going to the lakers but im just not sure how its going to work out. Nash is old but he can still play, if anything, he's better than anything the lakers had last year and howard is a decent upgrade over bynum

I'm a Sixers fan and I love this trade. Look for Evan Turner to light it up next year, as he is the only true scorer on the team now.

Nash's stats are still amazing, and his game is so specific that age isnt as big a problem. He's not out there trying to jump and dunk over peeps. Drive and dish.

This trade gives the Lakers way more flexibiity in offense. They will run and get in the transition game much more, which should give Kobe more easier looks. Dwight and Gasol can run with Nash, which Fisher and Bynum could not do

I think everyone comes out ahead in this trade. It's definitely a plus for the lakers to have kept Gasol, he will be a nice complement to Howard. It really seems like next year will be a two team race to play Miami. This should make for some great playoff basketball!

1 guy that didn't play for 2 seasons and that is one hop step away from ending his career.

1 guy that missed almost all of last season and will probably go down with another freak injury.

1 guy that looks and plays like he has sickle cell and is well over his prime.

Kevin Love is good, but he's not going to carry a team deep into the playoffs.

i don't think the Wolves have what it takes to win 10 more games out west and battle for the 8th spot.

History dictates that in order to get into the playoffs out west in the last 7 or 8 years, you and your team should be shooting for 48 wins.

that's @ .570 winning percentage. Wolves haven't won 57% of their games since kevin Garnette in 2002/2003.

Wolves are NOT going to win 48 games.....

I have always been a sixer fan too! Only because of AI. Since he left I still keep an eye on them [timberwolves is my team for this year]. but Turner is not their main scorer. It's going to be D. Wright, this guy plays insane and will average 20points a game atleast. He was insane playing with warriors.

I did forget about Wright, but I see ET going 21/6/6 next year, with Wright and Bynum averaging about 17 pts/gm each. Just a hunch.
