meh. they have insurance. the world in relation to theft isnt any worse than it has been ever. people with that mindset just suck.

About 2 months ago the same thing happened to another dealership close by.

But seriously they must be pretty dang good at what they do to pull off something like this. And also the dealership must also be to blame.. How in the heck does something like this happen if it's not an inside job? No security on millions of dollars worth of cars sitting outside overnight?

I'm wondering if they used the OBD port to unlock and start the cars... more reason to do the extension mod.

The report said they broke into the building first, so I'm assuming that was to steal the vehicles keys.

Probably ex employees from either a BMW/Audi/Merc dealer, they must have worked there for enough time to be able to know the ins and outs.

lol, those cars are most likely in a cargo crate on their way to another country I am sure it was an inside job. Apparently some if not all of the cars were also customers cars. I was going to bring my car there 2 months ago but felt uncomfortable with the place and decided to go else where.

Definitely an inside job to know where the keys are and the ins and out... those Bimmers are probably on their way to South America as we speak.

I work a few blocks away from the dealer, its located like 50 ft from i95, good for quick escapes

Cargo's will not accept cars without clear titles. They must be in the states somewhere.
