BMW E92 Rear Bumper - Question

Hi,

Well I am doing my PDC front and rear modification and while removing the rear bumper I ended up breaking 3 tabs as shown in the below pic. Will I be able to hold it in place or now i need to invest in a new rear bumper or is there a fix.

Any help on this is greatly appreciated

Thanks

Ramez

Just use some fiberglass to repair the clips and you'll be fine.

Yeah, any auto store would have fiberglass repair kits. It comes with some fiberglass sheets and resin. A small patch kit would work fine.

Just cut the fiberglass sheets to fit the edges you broke and follow the instructions on the kit on mixing the resin and coating the fiberglass. It sets up and cures in a short period. Then just a little trimming and sanding to ensure the clips fit and you're done.

Worst case if it doesn't work for you is you buy a new bumper, but I'm sure you can fix it with the Fiberglass kit.
