335i to 328i

Had to take my 2011 335i e90 to get some repairs apparently my "radio was draining the battery which caused it to die". anyways the loaner they gave me was a 2012 328i e92. and oh boy does it make me miss my 335i, the pick is just not there. cant wait to get my adrianna back i miss her

I would have thought they would give a 335 owner a 335 loaner. Interesting.

I recieved a 328i loaner E90. It didin't have the straight line acceleration as my 335i but it was still a blast to drive. The sound of that engine was more aggressive and pronunced than the 335i. I loved it.

I know what how you feel. I was stuck with a base 335xi as a loaner when my 328i sport was getting service done. After the first turn in the roadway I could not wait to get back to my 328.

Everyone really fails to realize the fact that they beat the hell out of most loaners and put shitty regular gas in it.
These threads are just silly- WTF do you expect from a car that's been beaten worse than Tina Turner?
I've also had 335 loaners that drove just as shitty if not worse.

+1 It may not be as fast, but the sound is awesome

how does your 335i compare to your 355i?

seriously tho, the 325/328 can feel a little sluggish, but an aa tune+intake manifold upgrade make it much more enjoyable.

No dealer around me has 335 loaners. They only have 328 loaners. If there were 335 loaners there would need to be loaners for the loaners because they'd be in the shop too.

Grow up with these stupid threads already. You'll have your "supercar" back soon enough.

I think my 328i is really quick in a straight line. Sounds great too, especially with the windows down, sunroof open, and the car in DS.

My dealer always gave out 328xi autos. Talk about the worst combo when you're used to a RWD ZSP 335.... Of course it feels like a dog, it should. However, I thoroughly enjoy 6MT RWD 328s like there's no tomorrow. The difference between that and an auto 328xi loaner is night and day as well.

OP, been there. The first thing I noticed when I got my car back was the steering. The active steering on the 2012 was way too much.

Coming from a 335i, I've gotten 2 different loaners: a 2012 e92 328i and a 2012 f30 328i.
I got the f30 the first time, and boy, the e92 was extremely disappointing in comparison. The f30 was surprisingly quick.
