Idrive had no sound/frozen from start up

Last night when I started my car the idrive screen stayed at the display image with the options menu. No sound was coming out from any speakers and it was a frozen screen. the date and time were not set either.

I thought maybe a low battery...? so I restarted the car and it was still the same. SO I drove to 7-11 and when i got back in it went to normal...

is this going to mean big problems? or has this happened to any one else?
