Check out your "BMW Owners Circle" account. It has a list of all the things you can do and can't do when you turn in a lease. Put it this way, they are going to try and sell that car, do you think they'll be able to do that with a cut bumper?
Best bet, keep an eye open for anyone selling a used bumper for cheap, buy it and throw it on when the lease ends. Same goes for used run-flats. |

The dealer could say that modding the exhaust killed your engine and tranny warranty and you need to pay for a new engine and tranny in order to turn in the lease.
You might be better off to simulate the stock condition as close a possible or just buy the car at lease end. |

It's simple....
Basic- Anything less is inviting unwanted issues at lease end.

Dealers are becoming more mod friendly. Certain dealers won't care and others will ask that you return it back to stock.
Easier to return it back to stock. You can also change your bumper to the 'aero' kit like OC Kid has to which all you need to replace is the rear valence. |
