I used to just keep it in my center divider and when I came up to a sensor take it out and hold it up - but now I just Velcro it to the lower left corner, right above the dash, in my windshield. My friend keeps his where the ashtray is and he swears it always beeps, not sure if I want to chance getting a ticket for it not catching it though.

Are you putting it in the middle of your windshield or something? I have mine at the top of my windshield butting up the right of the rearview mirror mount/rain sensor. Out of sight.

They make a license plate mounted version that you can mount inside the roof of the center intake of bumper so it's invisible.

i still haven't put mine on my windshield. when i go on trips i put it on the shade for the sunroof and close it so it won't fall out. works every time. you don't have to hold it and you don't have to look at it.

The new ones from EZ pass are half the size. I leave mine in the center console.

I like this idea. Maybe a little piece of Velcro to prevent is from sliding around?

Windows are tinted so you can't see it from the outside. Just put it next to the mirror at the top of my windshield. Doesn't bother me seeing it from the inside.

I just put it to the right of the mirror at the top of the windshield. I could care less what it looks like from outside the car...

My friend told me that you don't need the transponder. Before mailing out fines for crossing a bridge without paying toll, the company must verify the license plate to make sure there is no account.

I haven't had my transponder in my car in 3 years. When my friend told me you don't need it, I thought it might be the setup for an expensive joke. The first time I went through the fast pass lane w/out it, I had white knuckles. 3 years later I don't event think about it. I've never had a charge, and my account is still charged for 3 years of tolls.

FYI...

My issue is; in Ohio, we have lift gates you have to go through. Hopefully the sensors read the pass on my roof!

I've used one of these for a year. Works great. Makes the transponder unnoticeable.
