outside temp sensor

hi guys
I was messing with my fog lights and somehow I disconnected the outside temp sensor or maybe I broke it?now its showing-40.
does anybody know where its located?driver side?pass side?
my car is a e90 335i build 3/07

Probably near the radiator support. Might need to remove bumper to access.

passenger side, i removed it from there and placed right where the siren for the car is, around there behind a metal part. havent had a problem.

Mile just randomly reads an obviously wrong temperature sometimes. Never -40 tho. Bundle up buddy, it's cold out there!
